Location of the position: Forvis Mazars in Poland, Warsaw office
Internship period: all over the year (at least 3 months, ideally between 6 to 12 months)
Employment agreement: full-time contract preferred, but part-time could also be considered

Your engagement working for Forvis Mazars:
As a Trainee you will typically assist our professionals in various assignments, both operationally and as a business support:
- Deal origination and business development activities including identification and approach of potential opportunities, buyers and sellers in Poland or abroad,
- Support operational projects including the preparation of pitching materials and other needed deliverables
- Preparation of industry specific market research and presentations
- Promotion of Forvis Mazars among large international firms, PE funds and law firms
- Support to the Warsaw-based Central & Eastern European Financial Advisory Steering Committee in its coordination role within the CEE region (preparation of marketing materials, update of the regional credentials, etc.)
- Support to International Desk strategy (French Desk, US Desk, German Desk, UK Desk notably)
- Use and monitoring of EMIS market intelligence, Mergermarket M&A database and other market intelligence tools
- Any other operational or business support work requested by the team in accordance with the existing needs, the Trainee’s knowledge and profile
Qualifications and requirements:
- Student currently pursuing a Master’s degree in e.g. Finance, Economics or International Business with a strong academic record. Bachelor students having a gap year are also welcome to apply
- A previous experience in Corporate Finance within an investment or advisory firm would be highly appreciated, but is not a must
- Excellent oral and written skills in Polish and English. Fluent French or German would be an advantage
- Enjoying working as part of an international team but also having a high level of initiative to work unsupervised when required
- Ability to perform with tight deadlines and significant peaks in workload at times
- Excellent proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint and Word
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
